This site is dedicated to the memory of Barbara Bullock.

Barb fell poorly in May 2010, going to bed complaining of flu like symptoms, only to be rushed to hospital a few hours later in a coma, being diagnosed with Meningococcal/septicemia. The first 48 hours were critical and we were told to prepare for the worst, only to the Doctors amazement Barb came out of her coma a week later and was transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for more specialized treatment. Once in Frenchay battling against the disease we were told the septicemia was so severe in Barb's legs that she had no choice but to have both legs amputated (on her 58th Birthday). After ups and downs fighting infection after infection she caught an infection which she couldn’t fight and she died on 16th July 2010. Barb was a magnificent lady, so full of life – with years ahead of her. She was a wonderful caring Wife, a best friend to her two daughters and an ever loving Nan to her three Grandchildren. She is missed so dearly every day by her family and friends. Now sleeping peacefully with the angels x x x
